LEXINGTON, S.C. – For my photo story I decided to document how my family members are handling quarantine. Everyone handles things differently. My mother wanted to do her part and help the community by cutting fabric for masks to be sewn. My stepfather handled quarantine by staying busy and working on yard work and other projects around the house he didn’t have time for while working a full-time job. I am unable to see my niece unless I am 6 feet away, so I would go over to my sister’s house to blow bubbles and spend time with her in any way I was able to. Everyone handles stress and difficult times differently, and I wanted to document that in my final series.

I am a senior Mass Communications major at USC from Lexington, South Carolina. It has always been my dream to attend USC for college. This is my first photo class and I came into it with little to no camera experience. I decided to take this class to try new things in hopes of diversifying my portfolio.
