“Serving the Columbia area since 1987, Gibson Jewelers is the place to go for all your jewelry needs.”
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gregory Gibson has been working in the jewelry business since college. He started out in a jewelry repair shop and opened Gibson Jewelers in 1987. Gregory and his wife Jill own one of the last family-owned jewelry stores in the Columbia area. While they have a small store, they get plenty of business doing repairs for other stores, they make custom jewelry and do repairs for their own customers, repair watches, replace watch batteries and appraisals for the DEA. Gregory takes lots of pride in everything he does, especially any custom work. They do everything by hand, and they only have one computer in the front of the store and none in the back where the jewelry is made. They hand carve every mold, hand polish, and cut anything they make. Gregory and Jill love what they do and are incredibly happy to answer any questions their customers have.
