COLUMBIA, S.C. – For my story I chose to center around neighborhoods and how COVID-19 has impacted them. When the virus led to school buildings closing, I personally decided to continue staying in Columbia until the end of the semester. While here I have been able to see how suburban communities have been impacted. Cars are parked everywhere, every few minutes someone runs by and overall you see more people enjoying their homes in different ways.
